Knighton in the Teme Valley

Knighton is a small market town on the borders of Powys, Shropshire and Herefordshire. It is situated in the upper River Teme valley, surrounded by the beautiful hills and valleys of the Welsh Marches. The roads and footpaths around the town are quiet and relatively undiscovered, ideal for walking and cycling holidays.
Knighton is the only town actually on Offa’s Dyke. The National Trail Offa’s Dyke Information Centre is situated in Knighton. A second National Trail, Glyndwr’s Way, leads through mid-Wales, from Knighton on the English border to Machynlleth on the Dovey estuary, and then on to Welshpool.
